(Serves 2)
About 1/2c. Shio Koij marinated mushrooms |
2c. your choice of stock, such as chicken, bonito, etc. |
Salt to taste |
Shio Koij marinated mushrooms |
13 oz. mixed mushrooms of your choice, such as Shiitake, Shimeji, King trumpet, or Enoki |
3 Tbsp. Marukome Shio Koji |
Directions: |
Slice all mushrooms into bite-size pieces. Boil water and cook mushrooms in a pot, for a couple of minutes.
Drain and mix with Shio Koji while mushrooms are hot. Transfer to air-right container and keep refrigerator. |
How to use: |
Add to Uson or Soba noodles as a topping or mix with steamed vegetables. |

- 1. Add Shio koji marinated mushrooms and stock to a pot, and heat. Season with salt, if necessary. Serve hot.
