Miso Yaki Hamburger

Ingredients (Serves 4)

2 Tbsp. Marukome Miso Yaki for Meat
1 lb. ground beef
½ onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. panko
1 egg
Vegetable oil
1 tomato, thinly sliced
4 lettuce leaves
¼ onion, thinly sliced
4 hamburger buns

Directions

  • 1. Mix panko and egg together in a small bowl.   Set aside until panko absorbs the moisture.
  • 2. Heat 2 tsp. vegetable oil in a frying pan, and cook chopped onion until golden brown.  Transfer to a small bowl and keep in refrigerator until cool.
  • 3. Mix ground beef, onion, and panko/egg mixture in a bowl.  Form into 4 patties.
  • 4. Cook patties until heated through in a frying pan or BBQ grill. Cut buns in half, and place lettuce leaves, tomato, onion slice, and cooked patty on each. Serve hot.
